Qualifying Broker

Scott graduated from the University of Southern California in 1981 with a BS. in Business Administration with an emphasis in  Finance.

Having always wanted to live in the mountains, he found Ruidoso in 1988 and has never looked back.  Scott got his Realtor's license in 1990, started working full time, and bought his first investment property with nothing down, by mortgaging his paid in full Alto lot..

He was Rookie of the year in 1990 and a multi million dollar producer (back when it meant something) every year since.

In 1995 Scott entered a partnership to buy the Better Homes and Gardens Franchise and was the broker in charge there until 2001 when he and his partners merged with the local C21 office.

Scott's daughter, Marley, got her broker's license in the Spring of 2023 and the two of them decided to utilize Marley's IT skills and Scott's extensive real estate knowledge and experience, and together opened Roser Real Estate and Property Management in the Fall of 2025.  

Along the way Scott has been a personal investor owning and managing numerous rental properties, as well as being involved in many successful land development partnerships.  Scott's wife Roberta, took over the long time property management arm of C21 in the Fall of 2019 and they have moved 36 properties to Roser Real Estate. Scott has always claimed his best business move was selling 4 rental properties in 2007 and trading the gain into the purchase of Ruidoso Self Storage, Ruidoso's most central storage facility.

Scott is an avid golfer and has won numerous State Championships.

He loves to read, is an avid hiker and wouldn't trade his life and family in Ruidoso for anything.

Associate Broker

Marley was born and raised in Ruidoso, NM growing up in the mountains and being around real estate all her life. 

She left her hometown to study in Lubbock at Texas Tech University and graduated Summe Cum Laude in 2022 with a degree in History and Secondary Education. She spent some time substitute teaching post graduation and then decided to go into the family business and attain her real estate license. Passing the National and New Mexico Exams in early April of 2023, she began her career alongside her dad, Scott, in May of 2023. 

With Scott’s many years of experience as a broker and personal investor, she knew she had a valuable learning opportunity and the perfect mentor to shadow. 

After learning the ropes and enjoying the business for 18 months, Marley and Scott decided to branch off and open their own brokerage, Roser Real Estate, in Fall of 2024. 

They’ve enjoyed the flexibility and independence that opening their own company has provided so far and are looking forward to the continued growth. 

Marley is actively working towards completing her property management license, manages the family Airbnb/VRBO, and helps with the family business, Ruidoso Self Storage. 

Marley loves to spend time at the gym, cooking, being outside hiking, walking, golfing, or skiing, and hanging out with her family and pets.
